VMware Workstation 17
Choose a compatible 17.x build, allocate enough resources for both host and guests, and obtain any guest operating-system licenses separately. Workstation is not the VMware Fusion product for Mac.

Is VMware Workstation 17 free?
Broadcom makes Workstation Pro 17.5.2 and later available free for personal, educational and commercial use. Earlier 17.x releases can have different requirements. This listing does not sell a new paid license key.
Does this run on a Mac?
Workstation targets Windows and Linux hosts. VMware Fusion is the separate Mac product.
Is a Windows license included?
No. Guest operating systems and applications must be obtained and licensed separately where required.
Does the free download include paid support?
Do not assume paid support is included. Documentation and community resources are available; existing support contracts follow their own terms.
Is Workstation 17 the latest release?
